The Shift Supervisor/Lead role is a key position in our growing operation at our Greenville, Ohio location. This role encompasses the staffing, supervision, direction, training, and evaluation of an assigned production team. Directs and controls multiple production operation.

  • Safely ensures all phases of manufacturing are being performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Identifies and solves any issues or problems with equipment or personnel.
  • Recommends and drives formula improvements, equipment and engineering revisions.
  • Provides training as needed.
  • Maintains open lines of communication with Supply Chain Planning, Quality/Lab, Maintenance and Warehouse support groups to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Coordinates publishing of process condition set up sheets; updating these conditions and maintaining the process conditions database.
  • Produces all shop floor paperwork as required for process order production.
  • Coordinates and administers all aspects of training for new hires as well as long term associates.
  • Complies with and enforces all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures consistent and maximum production while maintaining acceptable quality control.
  • Ensures efficient use of staffing by effective planning of vacation schedules and arranging the required coverage when necessary.
  • Ensures that product loss and scrap production are kept to a minimum.
  • Administers performance appraisals of production associates. Establishes, communicates and provides timely feedback to assigned workforce on objectives, goals and expectations.
  • Ensures production supply inventories are maintained and notifies the appropriate purchasing associates when items need to be restocked.
  • Reviews and corrects information in E-Time for time-keeping of production associate's hours.
  • Ensures that attendance issues are reported and handled in accordance with the attendance policy.
  • Coordinates with other Supervisors to provide seamless shift turnover and appropriate staffing.
  • Ensures plant production area housekeeping is maintained in "Tour Ready" conditions at all times in accordance with housekeeping guidelines.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have a winning attitude that is contagious to the team. A positive problem solver.
  • Resourcefulness is important, along with strong planning, communication and teamwork skills.
  • High results orientation with an understanding that success comes through engaging everyone.
  • Plastics Extrusion experience STRONGLY desired.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a manufacturing leadership position managing direct reports, as well as a broad knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing operations.
  • Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally, in English.
  • Competency in computer and PC software including email, internet, and MS Office
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.

The Position

Our client is seeking to fill a Loan Administrative Assistant role in the Chicago, IL market. The successful candidate will provide administrative support for multiple loan officers.

The position offers a generous salary of up to $55K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Loan Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Processing loan files, creating loan documents, and interacting with outside vendors to order appraisals, title work, track insurance, and obtain various standard reports or supporting documentation.
  • Managing the workflow process to ensure loan requests move efficiently through all stages.
  • Providing general loan servicing.
  • Ordering, compiling and reviewing due diligence for new and renewed loan transactions.
  • Preparing commercial loan documents and files within specified time limits to meet all crucial deadlines.
  • Ensuring all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and that it complies with the bank policies and state and federal regulations and policies.
  • Ordering, gathering, and verifying background information on loan applicants and their business by conducting follow-up applicant interviews, obtaining credit bureau reports, business income statements, appraisals, title insurance, and other necessary verification documentation.
  • Interviewing customer loan applicants to gather basic information concerning their business loan needs.
  • Performing loan transactions efficiently, accurately, and in a professional manner while providing quality customer service focused on building strong business relationships.
  • Tracking insurance, taxes (real estate), and borrower financial information ensuring continued compliance with all loan requirements.
  • Calculating loan payoffs, processing interest payments and when the loan is paid, terminating collateral liens or holds.
  • Taking the initiative to follow-up, escalate, or seek additional resources to ensure customer satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Assuming other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
  • Cross-training in loan documentation.

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Five or more years of commercial mortgage processing experience is required.
  • Five or more years working in loan operations or loan documentation with specific experience in due diligence review and loan documentation.
  • Experience with LaserPro required.
  • Solid working knowledge of mortgage title insurance, hazard insurance, and flood insurance as they pertain to loan collateral.
  • Working knowledge of real estate and equipment appraisals required for loan collateral.
  • Solid understanding of the most common loan reporting requirements such as HMDA and CRA as demonstrated by the ability to collect accurate data.
  • Solid understanding of the core processing system as demonstrated by the ability to accurately process monetary transactions, loan maintenance, and resolve most balancing issues.
  • Solid understanding of the basic requirements for perfecting a security lien.
