Responsibilities:

•Work pursuit teams to complete RFP's, project scoping, sizing and pricing estimates

•Contributes to establishing a project vision

•Develops and tracks project plans for individual tracks of work (as part of a larger project plan)

•Clarifies and communicates project objectives and success criteria.

•Manage and control project scope and the change control process

•Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and client status meetings

•Assists Project Managers in managing client relationships and preparing for client meetings.

•Plans and executes client workshops.

•Develops relationships with appropriate client stakeholders.

•Provides day-to-day contact for client on track related communications

•Assure that projects are delivered according to schedule and within budget

•Maintains awareness of the current industry environment that shapes opportunities for client solutions (i.e. news events, trends, mergers, etc.)

Title: E-Commerce Technical Architect

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Technical subject matter expert in the digital commerce domain.

Define and implement technical designs to support high traffic eCommerce websites.

Architect overall technical design for enterprise level applications and document the details in technical design document then engage with team of developers to build and implement the solution.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Conduct technology benchmarking and industry analysis to define the strategic direction.

Develop and lead the development of applications and integration of 3rd party tools & platforms.

Mentor developers for capability building.

Conduct code review sessions.

Create, communicate, and maintain best practices and coding standards for team. Hold the development team accountable to follow these best practices.

Work with multiple technologies and in projects with high complexity.

Work to consistently improve internal processes targeted towards continuous improvement.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

At least 8-10 years IT experience architecting, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide solutions with focus on the digital eCommerce domain.

Experience is micro-service based eCommerce platform and Oracle Commerce is preferred.

Must have solid technical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Must be proficient across the entire enterprise development software lifecycle.

Must be proficient in enterprise architecture, application design, development, and implementation using technologies.

Experience in eCommerce platforms like Oracle Commerce(ATG), Oracle Commerce Cloud,Demandware,SFCC or micro-service based eCommerce Platform is a must.

Hands-on experience Java, J2EE, Struts/JSF/Spring, EJB, ORM, XML, JavaScript, Linux, any DB. Expertise in at least one application server (JBoss/Weblogic server/WebSphere server/Tomcat).

Experience with web services (client and server) with REST, SOAP, ESB, etc.

Must possess excellent verbal / written communication. Must be able to build relationships and communicate effectively to management and developers. Must be able to summarize complex concepts into understandable concepts and actions.

Must exhibit thought leadership around technology direction, strategy, and trends to help define and implement the eBusiness strategy and roadmaps.

Note: We have two openings for both the locations.

Required job skills:

  • Release and Deployment (RELM) Leads the assessment, including assessment of risk, analysis, planning and design of release packages. Liaises with business and IT partners on release scheduling and communication of progress. Conducts post-release reviews. Ensures release processes and procedures are applied.
  • • Change Management (CHMG) Develops implementation plans for complex requests for change. Evaluates risks to the integrity of service environment inherent in proposed implementations (including availability, performance, security and compliance of the business services impacted). Seeks authority for those activities and reviews the effectiveness of change implementation. Leads the assessment, analysis, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for change.

    • Relationship Management (RLMT) Identifies the communications needs of each stakeholder group in conjunction with business owners and subject matter experts. Translates communications/stakeholder engagement strategies into specific tasks. Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. (For example, may oversee the organization's promotional/selling activities to one or more clients, to ensure that such activities are aligned with corporate marketing objectives.) Negotiates with stakeholders at senior levels, ensuring adherence to organizational policy and strategies. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding.
