One of our companies is currently looking for a Director of Business Intelligence in the United States.
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Director of Business Intelligence to lead the development of advanced data platforms and analytics solutions that directly support decision-making and business growth. In this role, you’ll oversee the design, optimization, and governance of scalable data pipelines and infrastructure while building a high-performing BI team. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and actionable. This is an exciting opportunity to own the data vision and execution strategy in a fast-paced, remote-first organization.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage the Business Intelligence function, including BI analysts and data engineers
- Oversee the design of scalable data architectures and ETL/ELT workflows
- Develop robust reporting systems using tools like Tableau, Looker, DBT, and SQL
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and deliver actionable insights
- Implement and enforce data governance, quality, and security best practices
- Drive self-service analytics and empower teams through accessible data tools
- Oversee budgeting and vendor relationships for BI tools and infrastructure
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and aligned execution
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in BI, data engineering, or analytics roles
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in a data-focused environment
- Expertise in data modeling, cloud data warehousing (e.g., AWS Redshift, BigQuery), and SQL
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools, DBT, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Proficiency with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience working with distributed teams and offshore resources
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- Familiarity with audience data, GA4, and tag management platforms is a plus
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
