Full Job Description
We’re hiring a Senior Project Engineer to join an innovative, employee-focused company that brings custom automation and robotic systems to life. This is a full-time, permanent W-2 position where you'll design, build, and see your solutions manufactured on-site and used globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle mechanical design of custom automation systems and robotic work cells—from initial concept to final production
- Oversee multiple design projects, managing timelines, priorities, and technical problem-solving
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams to ensure high-quality, manufacturable solutions
- Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and bills of materials using SolidWorks
- Apply knowledge of automation, welding, power transmission, hydraulics, and pneumatics to real-world challenges
- Continuously improve engineering processes and design standards
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (required)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SolidWorks experience designing custom machines (concept-to-completion)
- Minimum 2 years of experience with automation, welding processes, and customer interaction
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including machine tools, materials, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission
- Solid work history and strong project ownership mentality
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must reside within 45 minutes of Brown Deer, WI (no relocation or remote work offered)
