Electrical Engineer – Power, Fire Alarm, Low Voltage Systems
Location: New York, NY | Type: Full-Time | Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 (Based on Experience)

One of our top MEP consulting partners is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design of power distribution, life safety, fire alarm, and low voltage systems across luxury high-rises, commercial developments, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and critical infrastructure throughout NYC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical, fire alarm, and low voltage systems (telecom, security, A/V)
- Manage projects from schematic design through construction
- Coordinate with utility companies and low voltage providers
- Conduct site surveys, develop reports, and produce full design documentation
- Interface with clients and define project scopes
- Oversee construction phase work (RFIs, submittals, change orders)
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5–15+ years of relevant experience
- PE License preferred (EIT encouraged) NY
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NYC code compliance
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- LEED accreditation a plus
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
