Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Dental Surgery Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of surgical appointments, ensuring that our patients have a seamless experience from scheduling to procedure. Your attention to detail and exceptional communication skills will be key in providing our patients with the highest level of care and support.

Requirements

  • Coordinate all aspects of dental surgery scheduling, including confirming appointments and communicating with patients regarding pre-operative and post-operative instructions.
  • Work closely with dental staff and surgeons to ensure efficient use of time and resources in the surgical suite.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling software to optimize appointment availability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries regarding scheduling and procedures.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to verify coverage for surgical procedures and obtain necessary pre-authorizations.
  • Stay up to date on all compliance and administrative procedures to maintain a smooth office flow.
  • Proven experience in a dental or healthcare-related scheduling and administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and practices preferred.
