Full Job Description
Are you compassionate, patient, and looking to make a real difference? We're hiring Caregivers to support adults with special needs, specifically those on the autism spectrum. You'll help promote independence, build life skills, and provide meaningful one-on-one support in a safe, respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, meals, transportation).
- Implement routines and structured activities to promote independence and engagement.
- Support clients in communication, social skills, and coping strategies.
- Monitor and document behaviors, progress, and any changes in condition.
- Follow individualized care plans and behavior strategies, as developed by supervisory staff or therapists.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.
- Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and other support staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
- ABA training or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in developmental disabilities or human services is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred.
- Active California Home Care Aide registration.
- Recent TB test results or chest X-ray documentation.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (valid ID, Social Security card, etc.)
