Autism Support Caregiver - WEEKLY PAY

Are you compassionate, patient, and looking to make a real difference? We're hiring Caregivers to support adults with special needs, specifically those on the autism spectrum. You'll help promote independence, build life skills, and provide meaningful one-on-one support in a safe, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, meals, transportation).
• Implement routines and structured activities to promote independence and engagement.
• Support clients in communication, social skills, and coping strategies.
• Monitor and document behaviors, progress, and any changes in condition.
• Follow individualized care plans and behavior strategies, as developed by supervisory staff or therapists.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.
• Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and other support staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
• ABA training or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in developmental disabilities or human services is a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable with behavioral interventions and positive reinforcement strategies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred.

• Active California Home Care Aide registration.

• Recent TB test results or chest X-ray documentation.

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (valid ID, Social Security card, etc.)
