Silverman Divorce & Mediation Law is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a leading law practice specializing in divorce and mediation services, we take pride in offering exceptional support to our clients during challenging times. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of our office, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly while providing essential administrative support to our attorneys and staff. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing schedules, handling client inquiries, and maintaining organized records, all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism expected in the legal field. Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize daily office operations and administrative tasks
  • Answer and direct incoming calls professionally
  • Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents
  • Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and electronic
  • Coordinate client communications and necessities
  • Support the team with various administrative duties as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role within a law practice
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and office procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management software
