Full Job Description
Our Account Manager is responsible for the active account management of a select portfolio of key accounts. This includes client retention, nurturing existing client relationships as well as hitting performance targets. They will proactively assist clients in the use of Vista Cinema & Movio products as part of their day-to-day operations strategy and inform them of all new feature releases. The Account Manager will be the first point of contact for our clients.
This is a hybrid role and will require regular weekly attendance in either our office in Beverly Hills, CA.
Your responsibilities
Customer Relations:
- Manage a select portfolio of Vista Cinema and/or Movio client accounts in their assigned region
- Develop and maintain positive and proactive working relationships in order to build and maintain client confidence in, and satisfaction with, Vista Group’s products and services
- Provide guidance and proactive support, including by leading regular conference calls with each client in their account portfolio, to ensure clients are achieving objectives, maximising their use of our products and services and therefore delivering a positive return on their investment
- Ownership of small to medium projects, from commencement to completion using the necessary service delivery tools and resources, when a dedicated Project Manager is not assigned
- Identify and conduct product training for client staff around new products and major platform enhancements virtually and/or in-person
- Lead and/or participate in on-going client planning sessions to ensure clients are optimising use of our products and services as part of their broader business operations strategy
- Discover upselling possibilities and liaise with the Sales team to prepare proposals for additional Vista Group products and services
- Proactively manage client needs, have honest conversations and be able to balance clients’ needs with those of the business.
- Work with the marketing team on client-facing marketing materials, case-studies, press activity, and industry events as required
- Work with the Account Directors and Regional Head of Client Success to forecast client specific sales targets and ensure they are met
Product:
- Understand the cinema industry and how the Vista product relates
- Maintain knowledge of current and new Vista products and features, becoming a functional expert to provide guidance to staff and answer customers’ questions regarding functionality, and demo when necessary
- Gather and document the business reason behind enhancement and project requests to understand why a customer is motivated to make a change
Team:
- Be a leader—contribute to decisions that affect the team, office, and customers
- Run point on special operations or initiatives
- Act as an escalation point for staff
- Promote collaborative working relationships across teams
- Contribute to developing internal processes and best practices
- Participate in staff recruitment

Requirements
What you’ll need to bring:
- Minimum of 3-year experience in a customer-facing role
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent command of the English language
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, using independent discretion and judgment to assess situations and respond accordingly
- Strong organizational and presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
- Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Travel is required for the role, mostly domestic
